| Born in China and living at the crossroad of Europe and Asia, Shi Lan ( Li Chevalier) has received her post graduate Degree in Fine Art at the London Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in 2007. She received her MA of philosophy from the Sorbonne University in France . She is an associated member of French National Fine Arts Society, member of French National Council for Plastic Art, of the Society of Graphic and Fine Arts and of the Taylor Foundation. Prizes and awards Celeste Art Prize shortlisted, UK 2007. Mercury Art Prize shortlisted, UK 2007. London Royal Academy Summer exhibition finalist 2007. Congratulated artist at the Salon international d'Art Plastique Niort France, 2005. Li chevalier's works have been presented in some international art Salons by “The new British Artists” UK, Coomber Gallery UK , The Celadon Art Gallery UK., the 8 Art Gallery Beijing.
